This cozy home is conveniently located a short distance from shopping and dining at the Village, and is a short bike ride from SHARC. With a reverse layout, the great room with living, kitchen, and dining room is upstairs and stays cozy on those cool evenings with a warm wood fireplace. Relax and enjoy a movie on the flat screen TV. Step outside onto the fully enclosed front deck for grilling on the gas bbq, or out on the fully enclosed back deck for a soak in the hot tub.
A queen bedroom with gorgeous natural light and views of the forest is on the main level and is adjacent to the full bathroom.
Head downstairs to two more bedrooms; one bedroom with two twin beds and the other with a queen bed and a full bathroom with tub/shower combo in between. The twin bedroom has a small TV.
When you are ready to head out and explore Sunriver, head out on one of the 4 adult bikes to find all of the excitement of the area within a few miles of your front door. The Village at Sunriver, acres of green fairways at 2 award-winning golf courses, horseback riding, and lazy summertime floats along the Deschutes River are all easily accessible from this Sunriver vacation rental. Fish the Fall River or Crane Prairie Reservoir for a nearby excursion. Looking for wintertime fun? Try snowshoeing on the fairways or head up to Mt. Bachelor, just a mere 22 miles from your front door.
This home, along with most Sunriver homes, is not air conditioned. With our cool mountain evenings and ice cold rivers and lakes to keep you cool, this is a great house for a slow paced, ice cream and iced beer kinda summer.
This home welcomes dogs, 2 max, no other pets are allowed. Fees apply
Family reunion? Great! Book this home along with our 1 Coyote, 18 Coyote, 19 Coyote, 20 Coyote, and 8 Coyote homes and have plenty of room for the whole family.

Comfortable, well-stocked house that’s great for groups. Stairs to front door are quite steep.

Had a great time! 5-star service -- really appreciated their kindness, generosity, responsiveness and clean property. It's not the newest/nicest house in Sunriver but very clean, everything worked, and we couldn't have afforded the nicest house. We were very pleased with where this landed. The train woke some of our kids up but others slept right through it.

The train wasn’t bad, actually pretty cool to watch and the kids loved it. The nice part of backing up to the tracks is the private view from the hot tub

Train behind house did not bother us. Was infrequent and never woke us. Nice to have the forest behind home and not more houses
Thank you so much for the review, Melissa! Glad you weren't disturbed by the train, it is very infrequent :) We'll look forward to welcoming you back again!

The texts and emails from property managers were helpful and they responded quickly to questions. The house was clean and stocked with necessities. Dog friendly property. Definitely needs a smart TV as DVD rentals are no longer available in Sunriver. Lots of towels, pillows and fans. The train going by the backyard would be great for young or old train enthusiasts, but startled me awake at night. I didn’t mind during the day. I loved walking the dog along the trails and proximity to the village for dinners. It’s a magical place in the snow.

This is a great choice for a relaxing family getaway. The decor is not fancy but it was completely acceptable, comfortable, and clean. There were great amenities for small children-- high chair, portable playpen, and baby backpack for biking/hiking. Our kids are grown, but the layout of the house was nice for them with two downstairs bedrooms, and other quiet/private spaces. There is a large outdoor area behind the house, but I would NOT describe it as a back yard. It was forest floor, covered in pine needles. No grass anywhere around the property. The stovetop burners and oven did not seem to heat to full capacity, but the grill worked great. The fridge was nice and cold, and the hot water capacity was fine for five people. No air conditioning, but box fans were provided in each room of the house.

Our time here was great. Close to shops, restaurants, and a grocery store in Sunriver, and not a far drive from Bend. Place was impeccably clean. Great neighborhood to walk your dog. Quick response time. Highly recommend.

Overall we really enjoyed this house--very clean with a nice floor plan (one bedroom up and two down). There are LOTS of stairs as it is a split level so steep stairs going up to the front door and then two sets of stairs inside. Additionally, as other reviewers have noted, the train tracks are in the back yard so its LOUD when the train goes by. We are heavy sleepers so it was a mild inconvenience for us, but it could get annoying for some as the trains go by 4-6 times a day at least. Easy walking distance to the village and very quiet cul-de-sac. We would stay there again!

Bennington properties is a well run managent company. The home is well equipped. Parking is limited to 2 smaller cars and no street parking. The trains do pass 2 to 3 times per day, only honked the horn once during our stay

The Coyote cabin is conveniently placed near the Sunriver shops, Mt Bachelor ski resort, as well as Bend. The place was clean and comfortable; we very much enjoyed our stay. The hot tub in back was an added treat. Note, there is a train track behind the cabin with trains passing occasionally, but it didn't disturb us. We hope to stay at Coyote cabin again soon! Thanks for having us.

We had a great time staying here in Sunriver. The hosts were great with communication, including helping us out with a tool we forgot to bring for our bike, and suggesting places to visit upon request. We enjoyed using their SHARC passes that were provided as well. There is a train VERY close, but the train whistle never blew and it didn't seem to bother our kids.

Your customer service and quality of homes is great. Above and beyond. Unfortunately, the location of this property was about 50 feet away from the train tracks. We would never have booked this location had we known about the tracks. The trains woke us up all night long and scared our kids and kept them awake as well. It was a deal breaker for us. In the future, we will double check the location before booking. I feel that this should be explained in detail before letting people book close to then tracks. Not to mention how dangerous it is with no fencing to prevent children or pets from walking onto the tracks.
Hi Nicole, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm so sorry to hear that the train was a bother to you. We do include in all listings of our homes near tracks a notification about their proximity to the tracks to make sure that guests are aware prior to booking. If you ever have an questions about homes, please give us a call and we are happy to help. I hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise and we hope to see you again soon.
Thank You! 2019-04-04

Stopped in for a night, though I wish we'd had longer. This house is funky and cozy 1970s PNW excellence. Like that vacation house that your grandparents maybe had, although maybe they just stayed at their friends' place instead. Hot tub? Yes. Decks everywhere? Of course. Shag carpet? Yessir. Working fireplace with wood that comes from trees? You bet. It's a time capsule in all the right ways. Oh yeah, and the beds are comfy and it's squeaky clean. If you like a bit of character, some genuine architectural charm, and a super cozy place to hide out, look no further. (As long as you don't mind hearing the train in the backyard, but that seems to be a once/night event.)
