Darling mountain cabin located within walking distance of the Sunriver Village. The open floor plan and wood details lend to this home’s mountain charm. The open floor plan on the main level includes the living room with wood fireplace, cable TV and DVD player, a queen-sized sleeper sofa, the dining room with seating for 4 and the fully-stocked kitchen with seating for 2 more at the counter. On this level is a bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom. The living room only has air conditioning.
Head upstairs to the oversized very private loft which includes a king bed, private bathroom, cable TV, DVD and VHS player. On the upstairs landing, you’ll find a daybed with trundle.
Head out onto the deck to enjoy a soak under the stars in the private hot tub, or fire up the grill for your favorite meal. This home has a great view of the Deschutes National Forest with more privacy than most homes in Sunriver.
This home includes 4 adult bikes to hit the 35+ miles of paved paths in Sunriver and a ping pong table for some friendly competition.
This home welcomes dogs, 2 max, no other pets are allowed. Fees apply
Family reunion? Great! Book this home along with our 1 Coyote, 2 Coyote, 18 Coyote, 19 Coyote, and 20 Coyote homes and have plenty of room for the whole family.

It is very well appointed with all kitchen utensils and extra towels. It was very clean and pleasant to spend time in. Convenient location to the shopping mall. Would definitely stay again. Bennington was very responsive to questions and providing keys to the hot tub.

The layout is cute and having AC is lovely. Especially during smokey seasons. However, the house. Is. So. Very. Creeky. If anyone in your family is a light sleeper, this is not the home for you. Every step in the upstairs area will be easily heard in the bedroom below. Even walking up the steps will be heard. The AC is very nice for summer months for the heat & smokey air. The house is small but they made good use of the space with the corner sink and small dishwasher. The main microwave above the stove didn't have a glass plate nor was the light working which was a huge bummer because a 2nd microwave takes up a lot of the limited counter space. The games/puzzles are all for older kids (8+) which is probably what this home is better suited for: people with no kids or older kids who can sleep through the many creeks they will hear from walking in the upstairs area.
Thank you so much for this feedback and thorough review, Mikey. We appreciate you! Our team will assess the microwave and the rest of the property and make sure everything is up to our standard. Thank you for being our guest!

This is a cute fun cozy smaller home, that is comfortable for 4 guests, and walkable to the Village. 6 could stay, but would be tight. Nice AC unit for summer (though it was a bit hot upstairs bedroom). Has almost everything you would need (well stocked with nice kitchenware, etc), so no need to bring anything. There is a train track right behind the home, and it's quite loud in the middle of the night when the freight trains rumble through (actually thought it was a large earthquake- and quite scary rumbling the house). The floor on top level creaks below to the other bedroom, so may disturb occupants in lower bedroom. Also, the house creaks a lot randomly. Overall though, I would return to this home, as it has a nice charm.

This home had a well equipped kitchen and cozy layout. The beds were comfortable. We liked the baby gates at the top of the stairs and in the kitchen area, we used them as doggy gates. We also liked the enclosed front porch for taking off snow gear.

This place was cozy and charming! It has a good location and great hot tub! The property management group/owner responded quickly to any questions that I had. The place was clean and well-maintained. My only issue was that the beds weren't the most comfortable. Great for a short term stay!

Great 2 bedroom house with easy walking access to the village. Kitchen has been updated as well which offers a lot more counter space. We have had trouble getting the TV to work a few visits.

This is a darling cabin, walking distance from Sunriver Village. Decorated with comfortable furnishings and quaint cabin decor. The kitchen was fully stocked with bake ware and dishes for cooking and dining in. A brew coffee pot as well as a Keurig. The hot tub was an added bonus. Thank you for arranging SNOW for our stay! We will be back!

If you are looking at a cozy little cabin in Sunriver, 8 Coyote Lane is the place to stay! We met some friends there for a much needed reunion and it was the perfect spot. Check-in was easy. Everything was spotless, beds were comfy and it was perfect to build a fire in the evening and visit. The kitchen is well stocked with just about everything you need. We enjoyed the hot tub too! It is very close to the village which is a plus. The train goes by a couple of times a day but didn't bother us a bit. We will definitely stay at this gem again! Thank you so much Bennington! :)

Comfortable furniture, sharp kitchen knives, plenty of games and movies, and tucked in the forest but close enough to walk to the village. And dog friendly, too. Thanks for a great stay.

The cabin is fantastic overall. We stayed here in late July, so sitting on the back deck in the morning was a great way to start the day and breath in some fresh air. And once it was dark enough, the deck was a great place to look at the stars and watch meteors flash by. If you want to use the bikes in the garage, bring bike locks if you want to ride them somewhere and lock them up. Make sure the hot tub cover is balanced just right or it may fall - as it did with us. Fortunately no one was underneath it.
Hi Kristin! Thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I just wanted to update you that the owners have added a chain to secure the hot tub cover so that it won't fall. Thank you for choosing Bennington Properties, we hope to welcome you back soon!

Although the train does run right behind the house, it wasn't intrusive at all. It went by a few times a day, never blowing it's horn, so I wouldn't let that deter anyone from staying here. The hot tub at night with the stars out was heavenly. Cute place, perfect for 2 couples, and extra room with a day bed and a pull out if needed. Close to the store and restaurants-very convenient. I loved the way Bennington Properties checked in with us to see if everything was perfect (it was...)

Despite the rating, this is a nice house. Charming and cozy cabin feel. My wife and I have stayed at a variety of different Bennington properties, so we have experience with them. The experiences that led to the poor ratings are detailed below. The main issue with this house is that NONE of the windows work. Not even the garage windows. (I tried to open the garage window because I was hoping at least one of the windows worked). They appear to be sealed shut by either paint or just nailed shut. You could hear the windows trying to open as you cranked the mechanism. We stayed during June, and although it was not too hot, there was no a/c (which was not an issue), but due to the windows not working, we were unable to cool down the house at night. To make matters worse, as you all know, heat travels up, so the upstairs loft was unusable. Fortunately, the home had several fans, so we blasted cool air in by leaving the door open. Ironically, and what made things more frustrating, is the fact that Bennington provided an information card explaining how to keep the house cool. One of the tips was to open the windows at night. As another note, it appears that the downstairs bathroom shower is leaking. As you face the shower, it appears the leak is from the left side. This was not a huge issue, but we had to put a towel down to soak up the water. As I mentioned above, overall this was a lovely house. If the issues mentioned above are dealt with, this house would be much more enjoyable. As an additional note, we DID NOT, address these concerns with Bennington while we were here, because we were able to address the heat issue using fans. The other issues were bearable.
Hi Kyle, Thank you for your recent review of our 8 Coyote home. We are pleased that overall you really enjoyed your stay in Sunriver and with us at Bennington Properties. I want to thank you for bringing the windows to our attention. The homeowners had the home repainted late spring and we had no idea that the windows were painted shut! We had our team go out there and reopen all of the windows that were painted shut so that our future guests can indeed open them and let all of that great cool mountain air in during the summer months. We appreciate you and we look forward to hosting you for future Sunriver stays. -Jess Rae
