We had a great time at this place. There's lots for everyone to do. The kids enjoyed the bike paths and the nature and I enjoyed the hot tub. Fun little property with lots of entertaining things to do.

Only two outlets in the whole house hold an electrical plug. Our electrical device plugs would fall out of all the rest. Old uncomfortable furniture in living room. No outdoor umbrella and deck really needs to be redone. It’s an old house that needs much updating. Great location though!

The place was great! The fireplace was cozy and the private hot tub was wonderful for our couples getaway. The only down side was that there was definitely a musty smell that reminded me of staying at motels when I was growing up, which was in line with the age of the property. Didn’t bother me at all but the gf didn’t love it. That being said, you can’t beat the amenities for the price and we both really enjoyed our stay!

Great location and comfortable, though (as some have noted) somewhat dated, home. It was nice to be able to walk to the Village and to access much of what makes Sunriver a joy to visit, and is a perfect size for a small family or two couples. My only recommendations would be to replace the mattresses as they were not very comfortable, and provide a knife sharpener (as is normal in vacation rentals, the knives were quite dull and a knife sharpener would have made preparing meals much easier). Thank you for hosting us!

Great place to get away! So close to the village while still being in a wooded area. The cabin had everything you’d need... internet, coffee maker, kitchen supplies, TV, books, games and hot tub! The bikes are single gear (no brakes) so if you’re a biker, may want to bring your own.

Our stay was wonderful! ... The home was very clean and the staff at Bennington checked on us to make all was well. 1 Deer Lane is a simple home that is a bit dated and could use a new coat of paint in a few places, HOWEVER, what a joy to stay in a place that did not require constant focus on the breakage of “pretties” scattered about. This was cozy, very cozy with a rustic and well-loved feel - everywhere. For parents with animated youth, this is your destination :-) For parents with small children, be-wary of the spiral staircase. If I were 3 ... well, think moth and flame. You probably should bring some sort of gate to control access to the steps. For couples, while 1 Deer Lane will not provide the luxury some trips require, I can assure you this home will satisfy your needs if the focus is enjoying a spouse or significant other in front of a warm fire with a glass of wine at a great price!

Our first time visiting Sunriver and for my husband’s birthday - our stay was just the best! We enjoyed the rental space so much, we almost didn’t want to leave during the day for fun activities we planned. The location is incredible and bicycles provided really made us feel like we were on vacation! Biking distance to the Sunriver Observatory for star gazing and right down the road from the local brewery and other eats. The hot tub is such a nice addition and we were completely comfortable sleeping at night. Would rent again!

This was the perfect, little cabin for our family of four. We had plenty of room to spread out and hang out together. My favorite part was the living room as the gas fireplace was amazing and kept us cozy and warm and provided the perfect cabin atmosphere. We also loved the hot tub right off the living room. And lastly, the walk into the village is so close and easy. This was the perfect place for our winter ski vacation. Thank you for everything! We can't wait to come back.

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving week visit and lacked for nothing. Thank you for all the thoughtful items and amenities. Beds were comfy and kitchen a pleasure to use as we did quite a bit of cooking. The fireplace and heat worked well as it was a chilly week. We loved the location and just a short walk to village.

We enjoyed our stay quite a bit. The hot tub broke at one point, but someone came first thing in the morning to fix it. One comment about the hot tub: the instructions talk about the "blower" and the "pump", however those terms are very confusing (which is the jets?) for those not used to hot tubs. Maybe simplifying the directions using the same terms as are on the hot tub itself would be helpful.

Everything was awesome! I loved the cabin itself as well as the location. It was cozy, warm and wonderful! What was really sad was that the main reason I picked this cabin was because it had a hot tub, and the hot tub didn't work. The first night we were there, we tried to get in and the jets didn't work and the water was lukewarm. We called the next morning to have somebody come look at it, and they did, but that night we tried to get it and the jet only came on for 30 seconds and then turned off again and the water started to cool. So, a hot tub being the main reason we picked it, and we couldn't use it, was sad. If I give a lower star than 5, it's only because of this.

We have stayed at Sunriver 10 times before but never with Bennington Properties...wow, am I glad we found them. They make sure you have everything you need and the home was very clean. Home was perfect for us. Family trip and our daughter brought her friend...upstairs loft area was perfect. Kids had there own space. Very cozy. I do like a wee bit more seclusion but it was close to village to that was nice!
