I've stayed at about 15 places in Sunriver over the years, and this one is at the top of the list. The place was immaculate upon arrival, and the start up went off without a hitch. All the amenities are there that you need - AC, Wifi, Bikes, SHARC passes. And the house is a few hundred yards from Fort Rock Park, which is an enormous bonus for activity level. The house is in a nice circle of homes that makes it very safe for the kids to wonder around outside without fear of traffic coming too quickly. My 6 year old and 8 year old were loving it the entire time. Great spot with everything needed for a relaxing vacation. And pet friendly, to boot.

We really enjoyed our 5-night stay here with our group of 7 and 1 golden retriever. :) The property was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and in a great location. It’s close to a very nice large park, lots of walking paths and it was a fairly easy bike ride to the river. All the bikes were in good working order, which was great. It’s a semi-long ride to the Village/SHARC, so we sometimes opted to drive. It was bike-able for the teens. There were 8 SHARC passes, and we used a few, but SHARC was packed since it was a holiday weekend. We didn’t use the hot tub while we were there, so we can’t comment on that. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Home for 2 Families

2 families stayed here for spring break (4 adults and 3 kids). The house was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. Very well stocked. Literally the only thing we had to complain about was the manual can opener didn't work well. Since it was snowing we didn't get to use the bikes or anything in the garage, but it looked like there were a lot of things to choose from. The downstairs of the house is much warmer than the main living area, so we had to adjust for the warmth the first night. Plenty of extra bedding and blankets. The kids enjoyed the bunk room and huge bean bags! Great location to Fort Rock Park. The hot tub was immaculately clean and hot upon arrival (the cover was a little clumsy). We will definitely stay here again. We have rented many houses in Sunriver with 2 ensuites and this was the best. Many houses provide the bare minimum dish pods, laundry pods, TP, etc. and this had just enough plus a day or 2 more. I always bring some and was pleasantly surprised that there was enough for a house with 2 families. One of the best things was the communication with Bennington. We asked for an optioin/pricing to come a day early due to bad weather over Mt. Hood. They were very understanding and worked with us allowing us early check in on the day of arrival. Since we had our dog with us we wanted to head out early in case of traffic/weather, but then didn't want to be stuck for hours waiting to get into the house. Communication was wonderful and we appreciated the help.

Great house for 2 families with young children + dogs. The back deck is large and has a very safe railing around it, as well as a "baby gate" type door that closes at the top of the stairs. We felt very safe letting our kids and dogs run around on the deck. The cul-de-sac was great for bike riding. No traffic and able to see kids the entire way around the circle. The location next to Fort Rock Park was ideal. A very, very short walk. Doable for my 3 year old. The house had LOTS of bikes... a bike trailer... 2 tandem bikes... helmets... a wagon... kids bikes. No tricycle, but literally every other kind of bike you could imagine. The living space was open and had great areas for playing and moving around. We felt the layout was very functional and especially liked how the king room and smaller bunk room had a jack-and-jill bathroom. It allowed 1 family to have privacy and go between rooms (even in the middle of the night when the baby woke up screaming!). We loved this house and felt it had everything we were looking for. We ended up renting a high chair, baby gate, and basket of toys from a local baby rental company. We brought our own pack n play. We would definitely consider staying here again!

I cannot think of anything that would have made it more comfortable. It was perfect for us. We had a wonderful time. The only enhancement we would have used is if the bunk room would have had a tv so the kids could have played their video games in it. Not a problem for us. But when looking at the pros and cons of various homes while deciding on a home, that was the only thing that had us considering other homes. Some listed a game room for the kids. We are very glad we selected this home. It really was perfect for us. Thank you! Remember to bring shampoo!

We had 5 adults and 4 children. It was great! Large bathrooms for getting everyone ready for the Wedding. The king room is large, the queen room is small, but had a walk in closet that made up for it. The bunk room was great. The kitchen was well appointed. Bring paper towels! We used the Sharc Passes, great fun for the kids. The best thing was the huge Beanbags that everyone loved. There was one upstairs and one down that we brought upstairs. We decided to call this the Bean Bag House. We would rent it again. Thank You.

The home was even more lovely than the photos online. It was modern and updated and perfectly comfortable for our whole family. The bathrooms were exceptionally nice and the kitchen was perfect and well equipped. We would highly recommend this house and will definitely be staying here again!

Excellent property! Went on a golf trip to Bend/SunRiver for a 5 days and this was a great location. The cabin was spacious, comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot tub every night. The beds are comfortable and we will definitely be coming back to stay at this cabin.

The house is large and spacious. Good for two families with kids to share. Very close to Rock Park. Best hot tub I've seen in Sunriver rentals. Large deck on the upper level is nice for meals or enjoying the outdoors. The home does have lots of stairs, so not the best for anyone who does not like stairs.

The children loved being so close to Fort Rock. We created many wonderful memories biking, exploring and visiting in this beautiful home.

We stayed in Hoodoo 5 for a week with our adult kids and grandkids (total of 10), and celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary while there. The new owners have done a wonderful job of updating the house--new furniture and decor in all areas. We hit a hot spell, so the AC was a big plus! We look forward to returning next summer. Thank you!
